Apps for Facebook, iphone?

Apps like social games for Facebook such as Farmville are making truckloads of money.
Of cos, for every hit like Farmville there may be thousands losing money.

So what is minimum budget to develop simple social game for Facebook?

 

$1,500 to develop a good facebook app. Ive helped develop a few.

 

I agree with FavouritesBlog you would need minimum $1k to get something good up and running

 

There are many application scripts you can buy for under $100 but then you're competing against a lot of other similar apps

 

Yer many of these apps are making a killing out there.

Actually the cost is depend on the quality and type of the apps.
But normally people will not go for buy apps option.
They do partnership between developer and the idea giver.

 

The cost of hosting those games must be astronomical, though. I can't imagine how much Zynga is paying (even though they can afford it, and then some)
