Nice to know that some people like to hate on useful threads. Anyways, I know that some people aren't too fond of sitting at a computer for hours without making too much when they first startup. But, just like you said, doing what you love WILL make you money because you're going to have the will power to actually do it. Other then that, the thread is definitely useful!

1. A lot of those statistics of business start ups that fail are still in the "brick and mortar" world so there is a higher chance of failure due to the money you need to initially invest and keep things moving.

2. Most people "fail" because they give up. Hence why one of HelpingNewbies points was to stay determined and keep pushing along.

3. Why do you need to flame someone for making a helpful post? You yourself have 7 posts at this time so I assume you're new here. HelpingNewbies is always giving good advice and doesn't ask for anything in return so before you start makin stupid comments like that get your facts straight.

4. It's proven that if you constantly visualize your success and what you want you are more likely to achieve it. Along with visualizing it, write it down too. The key words are "more likely". Obviously not everyone is going to become rich but your chances are definitely a lot higher when you have a plan and goals and stick to them.

Well if you have the correct training and tools etc, the amount of success you have really stems down to these three factors.

Now I am making quite a nice bit online BUT somedays I hate it because I hate being stuck on a computer, and therefore my productivity is lessened, and thus my profits.

Think about it, there are a lot of talented footballers around, but its the ones with the drive and determination and the talent that make it to the top

I can agree with you on that to some extent. I know this will sound cheesy but, I think it is good to make mistakes. I mean, how can you learn anything if you don't make mistakes?

 

I would agree with number 2, even though I agree with all the points made. You have to be proactive and persistent. When the going gets tough the tough get going.
