Is Microsoft going to launch their own tablet, as they did with the Xbox?

Not really sure. I've heard that they've been too busy with the whole new Natal thing for the Xbox 360. And, with the release of Windows 7, I doubt we're going to be seeing one any time soon.

I never knew too much about the Microsoft Surface until you mentioned it. I'd rather pick up the Surface compared to the MaxiPad, lol :p

In fact I like iPad purely for the design... Its a superb piece, so beautifull, I dare to say. But on the other hand,no multitasking?? One app open at a time? Saying that this is a open window for Microsoft its not a redundancy... ;-)
I'll keep an eye on Microsoft Courier...

I like reviewers who write reviews of something they've not used or touched. It's interesting that, those who actually got to use and and touch it, like it.

iPad is somewhat useless, you're better off carrying a iTouch with you.

Anyways, I don't think we will see a microsoft tablet in the near future.

Wow that MS Courier looks incredible! WAY more functionality than an iPad, no doubt about that. The HP Slate also looks interesting, but I love the way the Courier can be flipped closed, making it smaller for carrying around and not leaving the screens exposed.

Bottom line is Apple got a little lazy with their tablet, now they will have to suffer the consequences once MS and HP bring theirs out. Apple may release an updated (more functional) version in the future, but for now it looks like iPad is positioned to be the loser in this niche.

    They need an Iphone first.

Microsoft are idiots and doing everything half way. They gave up on Bing. They are not trying to make their search engine better then google.

This how microsoft does everything. They get into a market get 10%, and then just hold it. They cant beat apples products and they know it. Microsoft is more worried about the xbox, windows 7, and other products.
