    @CPALEAD STAFF

    could you please add global conversion ratio and survey type (free, trial, purchase) to both, the CSV and XML feeds?
    this would help a lot in creating custom survey displays.

    thanks for listening

    Thinking of trying CPALead on one of my new sites.

    I want to know, when the code is up on the site, and the access is blocked until the offer is completed, then what about site admins?

    Can site admins bypass this somehow without completing the offers?

    depends entirely on your niche and budget and how good you are at targetting long tail keywords

    You can set this parameter yourself when creating a widget, minimum 1 hour.

    @jasoneswan

    i saw you implemented "survey type" into the XML feed but not the CSV,
    also the "global conversion ratio" is still missing.

    can you please add this both to CSV ans XML ?

    im using CSV cause its easier to parse and has lower traffic to your server.

    the conversion-ratio info would be very helpful to optimize survey display on my site.

    thanks again for your flexibility

    I was parsing XML with regular expressions for a while. SimpleXML in php made me SO HAPPY:D:D

    The object=>object=>object data model is irritating but it's so much better than writing your own parsers for all the stuff people cram into XML.

    Offer type in the feeds is a great addition.

    So wow I didn't know a feature request could be so easy. I had asked earlier about one, but maybe if I do it in giant bold text? I have something I'd be interested in.

    First, either

    A) drop the gateid=-1 from the feeds (good)
    or
    B)make gateid a configurable feed parameter (better!)

    Even with global postback the feeds are good to separate traffic from different sites or placements, among other things.

    Also, I have questions regarding bad lead tracking. I haven't experienced this so I have a couple of quesitons.

    How much time elapses after an offer is credited before it can be declared a "bad lead"?

    Is there any automated notification of a lead being "bad" or credit deducted from the publisher's account?

    I'm still looking at incentive models and would really want to know how far back they can go, because I really need to hold credits at least that long, of course.

    Also, if there was a method of notification that could be automated in a fashion similar to the postback on offer completion, that would be great. Might lead to people wanting a "Transaction" or "Lead" ID too, though, so I can see it opening up a whole can of worms.

    Anybody who is already running an incentive site have advice on this?

    As for the requests for the XML feed, we are working on that right now (option B), and bad leads are only when an advertiser backs out of leads. this is a pretty rare situation, as of right now we have not had to reverse since august of last year.

    All excellent news. Thanks for being so quick.

    Sounds like I can go ahead and credit offers immediately on successful postback and then generally expect to get paid :)

    As far as the postback-enabling feed script I was talking about earlier, it's available, but not for public download until one or two people have used it successfully. PM or whatever if you want to try it out. Pretty soon I'll put it on a test site.

    xml may be nice for some stuff, but stuff like the survey list i feel is best with CSV.
    CSV is easy to parse and has no overhead.
    when xml hype came up, i couldnt understand why people like it that much.
