I'd like to suggest people planning to start eCommerce that Prestashop is the real easiest among all the known shopping carts available. This is my personal experience. I tried few of 'em & came to the conclusion that Prestashop is the real easy one for any newbie.
I hope I'll use this script only for my new site.
Plz feel free to add your views & suggestions.
    Regards.

Opencart looks awesome, but seriously - no SEO URLs? I cant understand what is wrong with some developers these days.

Basically impossible to run in PHP/MySQL/IIS (Windows) with some speed. Even on *nix people have trouble to get it runing on a good speed, since the code is just a mess. So many calls here and there that speed is becomming an issue.

    Prestashop is runing lightening fast.

So if you need a minivan, don't go with a 32-seat bus! - Look at the features. If you don't need some of the features that Magento has over Prestashop, then skip Magento. Not worth the trouble!
