I was just on Problogger and found this book. Has anyone ever used this book? Is it any good or is it more of the same? Here is the link:

    http://www.problogger.net/31dbbb-workbook/

(Don't worry, it is not an affiliate link. :) I just want to know if this book is any good)

honestly man, and e-book for 20 bucks on blogging sounds like a total scam. now, i am sure something in there is useful, but im also sure that its out there for free. and if its any good it's probably out there for free and easy to find. thats just my 2 cents.

If I were in your position I would probably check it out. It doesn't hurt you and I am sure there is SOMETHING in it that you can find value from. Hell the structured daily regiments might be exactly what you need to make your blog amazing.

I think that's true, but when you buy a physical book that is published you know major time and major money went into that. When you buy something from a random web site that is not published, I think the odds are stacked heavily against you.

I bet you can find information written in that book lying around the internet for free.

But the advantage of ebooks is that you don't have to hunt around for those information, so get it if you're interested.
If it sucks then you'll have an experience of buying a bad ebook then so you'll not repeat the same mistake in the future.

Don't know about this one, but of course an ebook can be worth $20 or $1000. It's all about value.

Yes, it's true that a lot of info is available for free, but someone may put it together for you and save you the time.

I guarentee you that i can teach you more than that ebook can. All it is going to say is how to advertise it. They will use methods such as social networking and bookmarking. They will also use article writing and forum posting.

    usually these things are scams.
In this case, it's not. Darren Rowse of problogger is the number one resource online for blogging.
Look at shoemoney - he's always raving about how awesome problogger is and how everyone should read Rowse on a regular basis.
Personally, I read the 31 days to build a better blog for free when it first came out, but that's because I signed up for it when he started the original challenge. Okay, you're thinking, that sucks, how come I can't read it for free too. Well, that was a little reward for signing up to his newsletter and being a regular follower.
There are no magic secrets in 31BBB, but it's all good advice and if you follow the program you'll definitely have a much better blog in one month from now. Plus, he's a good writer, and you'll find the whole thing very motivating.

In my experience, the best blogging comes from nothing more than actually blogging.... and blogging some more and then some more as well! Learn by doing is my motto!

Okay, I bought the book. I did some research and found enough good reviews. I have just browsed through it and it is good. Nothing revolutionary about SEO or blog promotion. But I have nothing negative to say. Here are a few positives:
    - If you're new to blogging, it helps to keep you organized and plan ahead.
    - Good info about the type of posts and what you should share in your blog.
    - Easy to follow 31 day plan. I could do most of it in 5-6 days if I spent the time, but given my schedule, this works out fine for me.
    - A good reminder of the little things that we often neglect to do.

For me personally, this book will help to keep me organized. When I visit DP and other forums, there are so many great ideas floating around, but it gets to a point where I have information overload and try to do to much simultaneously. This book will help to keep me at bay. So for someone with my almost ADHD personality, it is good.

Is is NOT a "how to get rich quick" book. It is generic enough where it applies to any blogger. Also, he set up a forum where you can go and discuss your daily tasks and swap info.

As I implement things, I will let you know my progress. My current blog is http://onlinemarketingchronicles.blogspot.com. If you're truly interested, take a look at it today and then a month from now and let me know if you see any good progress. I will be posting about it for sure.
