    Agreed PTC traffic is worthless.

    Media buys are o.k too,

But I really like my own personal free traffic method.

Some method that only belongs to you or a free method that you also use? Could you describe it more or not (if not, it isn't too bad, I'm just interested :D)

Most purchased traffic is worthless and never results in good long term results.

I think it is clear that the OP is referring to literally buying traffic from a website. The vast majority of the time the traffic isn't even realistic visitors. It will be bots and that type of thing. If it's not, the most you can get is very untargeted visitors, which means very low conversion rates.

Other than PPC or Direct Advertising on another website, there is no good method to "buying" traffic. You are literally throwing your money away.

Yeah, I also spend a lot in buying traffic, advertising.

It seems that people do not know how to advertise, so they say it doesn't work.

    Bright bunch here.

I voted no never, However I do outsource it to other people and pay them to do the work. There is so much free traffic out there its crazy and 9 times out of 10 its been then paying for it.

You must have bought the ridiculous cheap traffic that's offered on this site.

Try LogiTRAFFIC. It's actual real humans, at a realistic rate. 1 cent per visitor. Well worth it for high paying niche's.

I made $1,070 on adsense and 98% of that was from LogiTRAFFIC traffic. Kept my CTR around 5%. Buy the "Standard Traffic". It's cloaked and safe (shows up as "Direct Traffic"). Already got my PIP. Payment issued on the 26th for my December earnings.

You NEED a high paying niche, though.

    andershizzle,

what claims do you have that validate your suggestion? clearly i have seen many people promote these traffic sites, and yes myself i have paid for traffic with no results. i do not see the point of paying for traffic, it seems rather unruly to me.

Theres really nothing wrong with buying traffic. If you are able to get it to convert and make a profit then go for it. Everyone has their own business model that works for them.

I tend to go the free traffic route and do not really mess with any paid advertising (yet, anyways) but I do believe that paid traffic works extremely well given that you are doing things right. Just as with free traffic you want to go after targeted traffic when using paid sources.

That means you'll want to do PPC, media buys, and so on instead of things like crappy traffic exchanges and similar sources.

There is nothing black hat about buying traffic.

Many people create sites designed for google adwords, pay for the clicks and make money from affiliates etc. It can be very effective if used correctly. The issue is most dont use it correctly.

On the other hand, there is no traffic like free traffic. It just depends on your marketing strategy.

I never really buy traffic unless I am trying to send some junk traffic to balance out high conversion rates on my CPA offers.

With that said, I have found that buying targeted emails lists and media buys to be profitable.

^^ All earned from LogiTRAFFIC standard traffic. It shows up as "Direct Traffic". Keep your CTR around 5% (don't let it go over 6.5%), make a 5-page or so niche site on a high paying niche. Look for like a 12$+ Max CPC or w/e in the keyword tool. Don't shoot too high your first month though... Don't set off any huge flags. I would recommend staying below an over-obvious keyword like Mesothelomia and doing things like reviews of Internet or Cell phone providers that pay high.

I recommend putting something like Bidvertiser or Adbrite on the same page as the adsense to lower your CTR. Use an adbrite/bidvertiser banner ad at the top and at the bottom and a adsense skyscraper on the side. I also use chitika linx as well. Chitika and Adbrite pay crappy, but Bidvertiser is okay. I however, got banned on bidvertiser. So whatever. Got my google check though. Lost 300$ at bidvertiser (1% CTR?)

Just got that nice check from google today :) Real happy. First check from adsense. I'd say LogiTRAFFIC was worth it. Spent around 200$? on traffic, made 1,070$

the thing with Logitraffic is that their traffic is REAL HUMANS. It's 1 cent per visitor. Which is a lot pricier than the BS ads you see on this site for like 10,000 for 5$? That's BS and just a bunch of bots. How on earth do you think people would do a PTC that is 0.0000001$ per click. That's terrible. It's all bot crap. But LogiTRAFFIC is real. Try it yourself. Buy 500 standards, simple 5$. See how much revenue you make. It's only good if you have a HIGH paying keyword, as i said earlier.

I heard that bought traffic helped some people but not by everyone. The question is also, how long the paid traffic is working - short or long term traffic.

I agree and disagree. I think that buying traffic like PPC is great. Highly targeted, refinable, and trackable.

Buying it from other sources though, is a little shakey. I stay away and I don't use PPC unless it is for testing.
