Do you like the new Google interface?

For the past 36 hours the new Google interface is up and running for me. When I searched something from home the old one came up but at the office I can only use the new one.

What do you think about the new Google interface? In my opinion it is awful. It is against what Google has always been about as it gives different options for users. Google has always been the simplest site and I believe that this new thing they is completely against that.

I'm waiting to hear your thoughts!

 

I dont like the delayed display of the links for sure.

 

i dont really like it either, it just delays you when you want to click on mail or something. whats the point

 

you need to wait and play with mouse on the website for finding the links. It is really sucks.

 

Yeah, idk what they were thinking with this approach, im not a fan of it much either. I hate waiting the extra second or two for the links to show up.

 

whoever in Google came up with this idea should be demoted for this non user friendly idea. As a big company they should do some usability test first.

 

i agree with you, this really sucks, the worst thing in life is waiting.. i hate waiting.. google was the simplist and the fastest site before

 

So from what I'm getting, us webmasters tend not to like the new Google.
It would be very interesting to find out what people that don't work on the internet think about it. I hope they hate it too because I think that such a negative response would obviously drive Google towards changing it back. ^^

been like that for months on my end? the links fading in I mean.

 

new layout is just plain disgusting...like why you want to upset your customers..

 

I think there is already a thread like this here. Many are also saying that they don't like it. Me myself I also like the old one.
