Hey Ripped, Although there definitely is a lot of demand for a method how to "unlock" ("downgrade" in PSP terms) PSP there are some issues I, as an active owner of PSP since 2006 see with this product. 1. Info on how to downgrade a PSP is availible on almost any PSP forum completely for free, not to mention the amount of youtube videos showing how to do it step-by-step 2. I don't see a warning anywhere on the sales page that there is currently no way to play "back-up" )) games on PSP 3000 versions with firmware version above 5.03 and on the new PSP Go

You can find everything for free online, but only the tech savvier users are able to find and execute such an unlock if it doesn't have a firmware above 5.03 The same arguments have been said for the wii unlock product that I made - Homebreware, and the product is still going strong after more than a year, and is very successful. The product is compatible with almost all PSP consoles, that includes the PSP 3000. The PSP is compatible for unlocking.
I agree with that, but with PSP it is even easier than with other info because PSP is so popular and easy to hack. You have to take into account the customers too. Most PSP owners are tech savvy young people (without much money) who are familiar with forums and the first thing they will do is look for a free way to do it or ask how to do it on a forum before pulling out the credit card (if they even have one which is another issue). Whereas for a health product for example, a 40 year old adult is not going to bother googling the info for free and he will simply purchase the ebook because $40 is not a big deal for him.
