Hi, I'd really like it if some of you members out there could checkout one of my newest websites. It's a blog thats been up for about 1 month, and has an Alexa ranking of 2 million so its not to bad. I recently changed the sales letter and tried working on the preselling. So I'd really appreciate it if you dp members could check out the first post(the preselling letter) and then just check out the rest of the website. And then post your oppinion's on both and tell me what i can do better. The site is http://levelingapaladin.com

    Thanks :)

It could use some work and organization. When I visited, a lot of content comes at you at once. The text is also kind of shuffled together. I see what you're trying to do but in my opinion you're doing it all wrong.

Just my opinion though, good luck.

I think the site looks ok, but agree with Theo, you could do a bit of work on the type. check out ilovetypography for some ideas.

Hi, I recently wrote a topic asking people to check out my website and tell me what they thought. So i got some feedback and changed some stuff. Now I'd like you guys to check out my site and tell me if you think my first post, my sales post, is good. What i mean by this is, if i dont come on to strong about the product, if i meet the wants of the person visiting, and other stuff like that. So if you could check it out and tell me how you feel about the first post, thatd be much appreciated.

    the link is : http://levelingapaladin.com

I think it looks good for a first post, but I noticed a grammar mistake in the first few heading lines, may be you want to fix that. Other than that, it meets the need of your visitors so I would say go ahead with your promotional efforts.

So, I'm happy that you guys checked out the site, and really apprectiate it. But I have been trying to promote the site. I get about 100 page views a day and anywhere between 10-25 hops a day. So far i have over 150 hops. But no sales. So I dont understand what the problem is?

    My thoughts are this:

    1. Not as many people are buying these leveling guides due to the fact that Blizzard has now implemented an in-game quest helping system that tells you where you need to go for your quests. This would result in less conversions per hop like you're seeing.

    2. I think you're only giving away very basic information that people already know. Also, grinding sucks for leveling and it's boring so nobody wants to do that. Questing is by far the fastest way to level.

Not sure if you play the game yourself, but WoW players can pick up if you know what you're talkin about or not and from my perspective your tips seem to be a little bit off. I've been playing the game since it came out so I'm just giving you my opinion as a WoW player what I see when I look at your site.

    3. I've done a lot of promotion with these WoW guides too. I used PPC though not organic traffic so I was able to get clicks on more "buying keywords" as opposed to just "leveling a paladin" so my results will be different than yours. But I saw the best conversions with Dugis Guide, not Zygors and I was getting like a 5% conversion rate on my campaign. I even did a small test where I had a specific landing page setup as a review of Zygors guide and I targeted ONLY keywords that people would type in if they were interested in Zygors guide and I saw horrible conversions.

My opinion is that Zygors gravity fools people into thinking that its the best converting WoW guide. Gravity does not say much of anything about conversion rates. All it means is X number of affiliates have made at least 1 sale within the time frame of whenever CB updates gravity.

Now of course this was back before WoW implemented the in-game quest helping system so I would expect conversions now will be less all around the board on these guides.

I would recommend redoing your free tips that you're giving them to include more content before trying to sell them on the guide. I would also recommend letting Zygors run for maybe another 100 hops or so and if you get nothing, swap it out for Dugi's guide.

Another reason I loved promoting Dugis guide is he upsells them on a gold/pvp guide as well so you can make up to $66 per sale which I actually saw quite often when I used to promote it.

Zygor rips people off with their low 50% commission and that's only $22 per sale. You will see a much higher profit with Dugi's guide I think.
