Hi, I do not think that traffic which is purchased is of any use. I used a lot of traffic selling websites 4 years ago, when I was a newbie. I am not an expert yet. But, I realized one thing that NO ONE can give you any traffic that can be of any help or can contribute to your revenue. A lot of websites boast about giving you the targeted traffic, but I never trust them anymore. What is your opinion? Just Poll.
Watch out for traffic scams. A lot of the traffic you "buy" is low-quality or bots or otherwise not worth the money. It's another example of something that seems too good to be true -- probably is.
I would stay away from buying traffic, some good placed links, and some targeted traffic will give you alot better results in the end.
yes, in fact i know various ways how they work. it depends on you what kind of traffic you like to buy. targeted traffic or just junk traffic..
I do not believe in buying traffic because mostly this traffic is generated by automated sources. This also not useful in SEO. And if you are running some program like adsense then your account will be terminated. May buying traffic is useful in giving initial bost but not really helpful in long term.
Purchasing traffic is not very helpful. Better purchase text links with relevant high rank websites. It will increase your ranking and yes useful traffics to your website.
I once bought 3k visitors I think... only 1 of them did a survey, which I got 80c for... ah well. Not using paid again, free all the way from now... free traffic tends to want to visit your site instead of being forced.
Paying for traffic - Yes if you know what you are doing. Truth is most of all the ads claim to product tons of targeted traffic have nothing to offer, if it really works they would have used it themselves and never have to tell anyone.
Nah, it's not permanent so I don't believe in buying it. The only way is if you are putting up advertising, otherwise the traffic usually ends up being non-targeted or fake.
Here's how buying traffic works. You give somebody money. They give other people some of that money to click links. The people clicking links don't care what's on the other side of that link. They're not going to read your page, they're not going to click your ads, and they're not going to buy your stuff. You are just another brick on the pile, and they have to run move another brick so they can make a big enough pile to pay their bills this week.
I've never actually known what buying traffic was about (mostly because I assumed it was a scam) until I read this - I can't believe anyone in their right mind would do this. I'm pretty sure that every PPC program out there is smart enough to identify this and ban a webmaster for doing it.
Ah that is not the full story. There are a few different ways of buying traffic. One is the same as what that guy said, another is where you pay somebody and they make your site popup (or popunder) on other sites.
Bingo! That's the key; know what you are buying, and find a solid way to track it; find out what works, and what doesn't. I buy at least $3000 of traffic per day, and have for the past 10 years; so, yeah, it works for me.
People tend to buy iFramed traffic and PTC traffic which is worthless. If the seller could proof me that the traffic really checks my homepage and reads it, I might give it a go, but I prefer spending my money into other stuff. So No, I don't really believe in it
