It depends If your site is old and you are doing posting your niche forum then it would be good for your site you can generate good back links. but brand new site might be creating problem for your if you are doing so much posting.....
There would be no problem with the new or older site. The thing you need to keep in mind is that you vary your anchor text. Keep one keyword as main, get good quality backlinks with that and use the other 2 or 3 keywords as anchor text. But make sure that you are not getting too many backlinks in small time period as this will predict to be a spam to search engines.
As Aryans told, relevancy counts more than anything while getting high SE ranking. So try to post of relevant forums which relate to your site's category. eIDSeller
50 posts in 25 forums on a weekly basis will have little on the serps. Generally a signature link is given little or no weight. I think that the posting could have some value to drive traffic to your site especially if the forums are relevant to your site.
Bcoz Google don't like SEO on any site if you have new site and you generating quick back link then he will know and your site will be going in SENDBOX. But if you have old domain then you can do your work as you want.
