My prediction when the world will end: It will start on Jan 11 2011 at 11:11pm (1-11-11-11-11), and ends 45 days after. The countries who fought the most wars in the past will most likely be the most powerful now because they have the knowledge, power and experience. If you want your country to progress at a quick pace, loose the policy of isolation.
In many fields most probably china may- because of its system and type of government. Democratically elected multiparty govt has many limitations, compulsions and divergent forces acting at one time.
I would really like to see India and China fight, I think it would be nice to see what fire-power they really have in their arsenal. Both have near the amount of population and both have rich in history and were innovators in the earliest time. I think war would be good for both countries, war actually has many beneficial specially to the country that claims to win. Why do you think the West have a need to fight other countries, the weaker the country the better. With China and India, both countries are near identical in strength and loss of casualties would be enormous which is sad, but in many ways it would be the greatest thing, less mouth to feed and a chance for both side to "clean up" the filth that is currently populating both countries. War is a good thing, not morally but economically because of all the technologies and medical that come out from it, that is why the West is all ways at war every 10 years or so somewhere in the world...look it up. My money is on China I think the Kung Fu skills is enough to win India, don't know what India's got, they only won 1 Gold medal in history.
I think India will beat China in all aspects as Chinese are thinking that they are the only one on this Earth. When they will intend to do any kind of war like situation then they need to make sure that India will have huge support from US and other Soviet Nations. In regards to Cricket, i don't think they will dare to compete as they didn;t even know how to play it haha If you talk about population then surely India will beat them soon and even in term of pollution.
