Everyone says that if you get many backlinks in a short span of time then gogle penalise your site. Now i have made 700+ posts on DP, so if i add my new site link to my forum signature then google will get so many 700+ backlinks together, so will they penalise my new site for this?
I would not worry about that.. Google knows that the links are coming from one domain so it won't be an issue. If you where to get 700 links all from different domains fairly quick then you could have issues.
You don't have to worry about that as long as you do the white hat method of creating those backlinks.
Ya, Ive never heard of this and look at many of the big sites. They do it all the time and could care less about penalties from Google.
nothing to worry. even if you turn your signature on, you will not get 700 backlinks all at once. some old posts will never see the light of the day ever again and googlebot will not visit those pages anymore meaning no backlink for you from those threads. for the rest, not all will get crawled by googlebot at once so whatever backlinks you get form the forum sig will happen slowly
Google will not penalize for simply getting more backlinks. Google penalizes for spam. Remember, Google can still devalue the backlinks but you will not be penalized.
Don't worry about backlinks you get from forums and such. They don't carry much link juice to begin with and in my opinion google could care less that you have a 1000 forum sig links.
