$60 - 72 HOURS! Logo and Header for a Fitness Store website

Hi All,

I need a logo and a header for website “Fitness Stock Clearance”. The website will be selling fitness equipment at discounted prices and I want this to be reflected in the logo.
The website is not online yet but it will use the following skin http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=1hp11k&s=6. Probably blue would be a nice background colour for the header however you are free to use any colour scheme as long as it fits into the skin and doesn’t look odd.
The header will contain
-logo with a website name
-slogan, I have not decided on the text yet but you can put “Quality equipment at affordable prices” for now
-some photo
-navigation menu at the bottom.
I would like to see a photo of some sporty woman and/or man not too masculine but rather fit as the majority of the goods will be abdominal and cardio exercisers.
The header width is 940px and the main height including the menu can vary between 120px and 180px. However you can have the photo to stick out above the header as it’s currently on the skin.

I expect to finish the contest in 72 hours however I can let it run slightly longer if I can't see anything suitable

If you win the contest you should be able to provide an editable psd file after the payment.

It's almost 24 hours passed and not a single contender?
I am quite surprised. Is there anything wrong with the spec?
I have sucessfully run a contest previously, please check my itrader.

If there is nothing interesting comes in the next 24 hours I will split this contest in two - logo and header. Hopefully there will be more interest...

I was quite surprised too when I saw this thread, with 100 views not even a single entry. I think it would be good if you can provide the template in normal size.

Here's my try:


I used a strong theme. To make it look like a fitness store.
The whole logo is 100%. No stock pictures were used. Even the weight was drawn by me so you'll have a 100% original logo
Colors can be changed.

I am affraid I can't see how a bird is relevant to fitness or stock clearance...
Also there is too much text for the logo, the slogan should be on the header not as a part of the logo.

The girl along with the funky font and ocean background looks like it's travel/intertainment site rather than a store selling fitness equipment
