Yes it does act slow sometimes.. wihout reasons. Its not only your issue even i have experienced it alot of time.

I felt no difference when first time I used the new version, I like the new one and haven't felt any speed difference at all. May be I am wrong but that's what I get while using it.

 

I think yahoo should also provide facility for slow computer or connection like Gmail do by loading basic HTML view.

 

Yahoo mail search function is impossible. I can search for my own name and it tells me that it is not found in any messages.
Is there a way to move my message archives off Yahoo before closing the account?

Well my experience with Yahoo Mail is good , I didn't face any problem with yahoo.So there is a Thumbs Up ! from my side for Yahoo.

I used to use yahoo mail for the longest time.

I always liked their news tab (before you sign in)

But now, I am a gmail lover

Yes , thats true. Specially RAM increases the loading speed. But Gmail is faster them yahoo.

I have to agree, Yahoo for me in UK is very slow loading. Also, viewing emails takes so long, even when deleting. In fact I have gone away from using Yahoo, only when I have to. I use MSN nearly all the time now.

 

many ads in yahoo mail.use old version classical .

 

yeah its slow. gmail is best

 

I've been using the older version since the new one pops up too many advertisements/annoying things.
