even i dont like what Steve Job displayed but i dont think there will be any prob as far as success of future models in concerned..

moreover a recent article in a newspaper states that ipad.com domain was sold to a company for a million dollars

All i have heard on the news today was how much the hype over the iPad was too much and it is essentially just a big Ipod. I wouldn't get my hopes up on selling it for $8,000 but if you are positive there is a market for people then i suggest you try sell it on flippa.com there are people with big wallets looking for opportunities there Good luck to you mate!

second : there are still 1000s of iphone sites running, just matters how u use them

third : Apple doesnt have a single domain name for ipad yet. there is already news in washington post ( see my commment above) that they have paid a million

its a .co.uk extension.. what wrong with that .. its a targeted tld where as .com is geographic independent.

i am already sold the .com version couple thousand

I think your domain is worth more around the region of $8, the price you paid for it.

If this name is for sale, it should be posted in the BST section, not the discussions section. But since it is here & we are discussing it, you're highly unlikely to get $8k, more like a C&D letter from "Apple" for infringing on their TM. "Ipad" might not be a TM they own yet but they do own the "Apple" TM.
