I have tried to apply for YPN and have been rejected by them each time. Wondering what type of site people got accepted into YPN with? Thanks

Since YPN is still in beta they only accept sites that get predominantly US traffic.

It may also have to do with the content of your site. I think they are still fairly discriminating about this.

Do you know what type of content they accept? I have a site that gets over 15,000 page view per day with 600+ unique visitors rank 350,000+ on alexa from my adbrite stats. I have seen similiar forum using YPN, but they just wont accept my application.

Is the majority of traffic from the US? Like iwm1979 said, they're in beta and U.S. traffic seems to be the most important factor to them at this point.

i think the most important factor for them in accepting new publishers is whether the site targets niches for advertisers whose content needs arent being met. so if they have a group of advertisers wanting to advertise on some niche, they would be looking to find publishers that can fill that niche, thus allowing them to "target" those advertisers on publisher pages. Im sure there are alot of advertisers that have content ads enabled whose ads are not being shown (on the content network) or shown very little because of a lack of publisher sites in that niche.

as always, this is jmo. but, if i were applying for an account, i wouldnt be applying with the same type of site that everyone else seems to have.

it's not traffic, it's subject matter and context and site design.

subject matter and content and how old the site is helps too...

Before you apply, put a Yahoo Search on your page:D

No. It isn't techslick. It is project4hire.com. I applied for YPN when the site was less than 2 months old and had very little traffic.
I guess I probably would have been rejected if I had applied for my forums even though it was much older than project4hire.

You are not allow to use both on the same site? I mean, you are not allow to displace both on the same page, but you are allowed to have 1 page with YPN, and 1 page with Adsnese correct?

It seems to me YPN isn't accepting many new sites anymore, they seem to want sites with decent traffic and decent content. Then again who doesn'?
