MSN not indexing my pages.

My 5 months old site is already indexed by Google and Yahoo.
But MSN is not indexing a single page. Initially MSN indexed few pages but dropped after few days. It has been 4 months…

I tried to contact MSN about this but never got reply from them.

Is there any reason why my page is not indexing? How to I avoid this?

can you give some more information about your site? Your site must have been indexed by MSN by now. Of all the search engines Google has more stringent policy about listing. If G has indexed your site, then some more information about your site would throw light on the problem.

If you have any feeds you could try adding them to my.msn.com. I find this can help MSN start indexing or index pages better.

Try having a sitemap and urllist.txt file in your web folder. This helps yahoo and msn in finding what pages to index. Mine is just over 2 months old and it is indexed by msn as well. Hope this helps.

there must be something wrong, when my new site comes out, MSN is the first one get it indexed.
Try to submit your sitemap to MSN instead of your homepage

any update on this? If it's been 5 months you should certainly be indexed by now!

msn is the easiest to get in on average but every now and again i have had similar issues. Never been a banned issue that i could tell. One thing that seemed to help was to check the back links to the top 5 sites that are ranked in google and try to get as many of them linking to you. I have found a few hidden niche directories this way as well. Not sure if this is what got those sites finally indexed or not but it was the only thing I did different.

MSN does not index large sites easily.

for me, its sort of opposite.

msn was the first one to index me, while google has not even indexed me yet
