This is how most of the referral companies make their buck! Innocent people sign up thinking it to be one time fee and not realise that they are charged every month!

You friend should have been more informed of the terms and he should have conveyed it to you more clearly! Anyway... an imp. lesson learnt... I guess!

    Regards,

whenever you do payments using paypal, always look out for subscription list in your paypal A/c. Sometimes when you pay the websites then, they automatically enrol you for monthly subscriptions payments. I think that also happens in your case too. Look out for this subscription list link in your profile and cancel it, if you didn't authorise it. Hope this helps!!

Anyways, I think yo should be aware about this in your future transactions.

An agreement can be made even if a credit card is not attached to the account whereas a subscription needs a valid cc so agreements are more dangerous

I think we only have billing subscriptions on paypal. But how can we make agreements on paypal  Also we can cancel the subscriptions anytime on Paypal, if we are not comfortable in going ahead with the subscription mode. Its like any other billers that we also have on our banking channels. If you have more inputs/tips, then pls. share for the community!!
