So, I'm using wordpress for my blog, and I would like to see the dates of the posts in the SERP. Is there anything I need to do to help google to see that, or do I just need to wait for Google to decide to show the dates? the site is www.optimizacija-strani.info (its in slovenian but I think you can check out the template or simmilar, if needed) Thanks P.
I dont think its necessary, the cached version have the date. if you really want the date on serp description, put that in the meta description.
Hello there, I think the only way to see the date in the SERP is use the date in your meta tag. I don't think there is any other way and wonder why do you want to see like this.
Are you referring to when Google puts something like - 15 hours ago in the listings? If so I think, but am not sure on this that Google pulls in the update from pings to their site after a new post has been added. In which case make sure you have pings setup on your WP.
doesn't seem so. I guess he wants Google to show exact date...this can be done only through meta description tag or title tag.
