How much would you pay for a 500-word article?

I am thinking of doing massive campaigns for article marketing as it is one of the best and probably the only thriving marketing. How much would you people pay for a 500-word article?

 

It's up to you on how good of quality you want the article. Of course, if you're serious about article marketing you want good quality.

People with bad English/grammar will charge as little as $2-$3 an article.

For a writer fluent in English that writes good SEO optimized articles, you will be looking around at least $5.

 

This is about right for the lowest-priced articles that are worth buying. If you want real quality content, though, you'll be spending about $10 an article; that's about the lowest level I consider a "good" writer. And if you want HIGH quality, you're spending $20 and up.

(Yes, there are people who pay this. I personally charge $50 for a 500 word article.)

Has anyone had a look at Amazon Turk? People are requesting articles for as little as a $1. Not tried it yet but may be worth giving it a shot if you spend a lot on article creation.

 

Think outside the box. College kids write great articles and work for VERY cheap.

 

I pay $12.97 for a freshly written senior quality 450-550-word article, manually spun (2 phrase variances per 2 phrases of each sentence, 2 sentence variances per sentence, and 2 paragraph variances per paragraph) to produce 50-100+++ highly comprehensible versions each 70-90% unique, and each version submitted to top 50-100+++ article directories.

That's 1st version to directory 1, 2nd version to directory 2, 3rd version to directory 3, and so on until xxxth version to directory xxx. Yeah: all 70-90% unique content!

And: these 50-100+++ unique articles are manually submitted across a period of 1 month via randomized submission frequencies. This means = more natural/organic backlink building via article marketing.

Yeah, all that for $12.97.

Junior quality? $11.47.

 

I usually use Elance to source article writers and have had some good pieces written for $8 per 500 words. I'd avoid the cheapest and go with someone who is native in your chosen language as I've had problems otherwise.

It you want someone to just Rewrite content, you may get someone to do it for as little as $1. For original content though, you should keep a budget of $5 - $10 for a high quality, keyword rich article. Do not forget to check author's rep before you engage him/her for content creation..

I paid $0.02 per word for 15 articles of 400 - 500 words each. Got the writers in elance.com

 

I am in the business in looking for writers as my English is not good enaugh for article writing. Too many grammar mistakes. This thread is very informative.

$2 per 100 words is the going rate at the minute I think.

 

If the writer is known to be good, then they will be able to get
more then $5 - but if they are not so known, then they would get
$5 or even less. I would rather pay just a bit more for quality..then get crap.

 

I paid $2 for 400 word articles last year, however I had them write approx 20 articles daily...

It will be on demand of writer who you are willing from to be your article must
some will sell 500 words article for $2-$3 and few will sell it for $5 each...
