The first thing that I recommand is to put the search field at the middle of the page, since most of the search engine's search field are in the middlle, I think this has become as standard.
Yep, that's what it looks like to me too. I think it's too spammy looking. Good luck with it but I doubt too many computer literate users will be searching with it.
