How would you market a video search site.

Hey every one,

I am working on developing a video search site that will allow individuals to search through 15 of the largest video sharing sites. They will be able to view the videos from my site as well as download the video, directly from my site.

How would you market something like this. I know that these things can grow virally but how would you recommend that I get my name out there? How would you recommend that we get people to our site?

How about making a post on Digital Point asking how you would market it?

Other than the normal keyword and link building I'd start with a video promo and post it on all the video hosting sites.

what you are doing is like "meta search" for videos.. you can post some outrageous video and get viral.. but those videos are hard to find.. I saw break.com and other video site post their clips on youtube too to get exposure..

 

post it here, I would love to use a site like that.
