First month I've earned over $1000 from adsense

Ive made around $200+ this month but its the first month I have actually tried on adsense. next month I hope to make much more via my advertising affiliates.

Congrats but sorry you had to work so damm hard. I am just about to reach my one year adsense anniversary. I started my first site September 05. It was a content site that I built from scratch with Xsite pro. I bought 50 articles around a keyword and published 10 per week for 5 weeks. After getting the first articles online, I went and bought adwords keywords that were related to my main theme but had a cheap cpc. I found as many of these words as I could and kept adding them as I found them. Each week I would use XSP to add the next 10 pages of articles to the site. XSP makes it easy to build pages with adsense, that are SEO optimized. So now I have traffic (paid) and adsense pages. The game here becomes getting your ctr and cpm up, to keep your earnings above your expense Next thing I did was work on building some organic traffic. To do this you first need to be noticed by the search engines. I did this by getting links from indexed sites relating to my site and by submitting articles to article directories. Next I went and bought more keywords from Overture and other ppc sites.

I repeated this with 6 other sites and by the end of next month I will have earned close to 10K in adsense minus about 2.6k for advertising. So that is 8.4k profit for my first year. Averages out to $700 per month, not bad for my first year. Right now I make just over 1k per month and will continue to build new sites when I find profitable niches. It is very possible but it does take work to do it right. So it can be done.

 

Congratulations on your success story.. It's good to hear that people do achieve their target .. It don really matter how many months you take, its the effort and determination that counts... I am in my 4th month now and getting 20-27 per day.. Tomorrow will be 1st of September and my figure is now in the range of 600+ .. Will reach 1K per month by end of this year hopefully!

Are you crazy you bumped up a thread like 8 months older

 

. . . And I am also replying to this . . . .
because 8 months back i was new to web technology but things have changed a lot in these months. Now I love all these stuffs (more than my profession - working on Oracle Applications)

I remember being a very frequent visitor to this forum during those times but I have spent last 6 months or so, learning only one things DRUPAL and writing worthy content for my site(right now more than 1200 nodes). It was interesting and I am far from achieving my target. . .

What I had 10 months back : 12 domians , 1 shared hosting with 5GB Bandwith limit and my average earnings were $1/day.

What I have right now : 1 site, hosted on a VPS (ServINT), few domians which I 'll use in future and my avg. earnings for this month is $26/day (it around $22 last month).

Each day I am getting 60+ new registered members which was the number of visitors to my site few months back.

I am hopeful to cross the $1000/mnth mark in aug/sep and I know it wont that difficult in moving forward.

And my secret(I know many gurus are here but still. . . ) Hard Work + Dedication + Patience = Result.

And One more thing Guys: Drupal is really great. I have spent enough time with joomla/e107/etc to say that its best.
