Who said Google do not link gambling and casino links/content? A lot of people search Google looking for these things, so google will want to have these sites for them in their search results.

What Google probably does not like is the spam tactics that are used by a lot of casino and gamblings sites.

Dont offer advertising to "mainstream" industries when yours is about gambling. That's a reason he didnt want to proceed. In this case you should offer advertising related to your own industries/niches.

Casino and adult sites are much more likely to be involved in spamming, cloaking and other blackhat techniques than other sites. Therefore they are much more likely to be deemed as "bad neighbourhood" by Google. Sites that link to them could be penalized as a result.

I am not agree with the question. Focus on quality. Add fresh content, regular off-page optimization. Google will definately like your gambling and casino sites.

Google is like a controller of web...or at least its heading towards becoming like that...so apart of basic algorithm, it has to adopt with the changing nature of web by the time...gambling and casino are among the niches which have a big spam/ black hat history...thus its obvious that these sites will take more than usual to prove their metal...same is the case of .info domains

Of course its my opinion, needless to be 100% correct;)
