most ebooks are crap but some are indeed worth buying. Ebooks are very convenient. Ebooks that target internet technology are generally more up to date than paper publishing. Ebooks cater to a broad niche market but generally, people that buy ebooks are on the go and want to save time. Time is money.

Well, that is your opinion and you are certainly entitled to it. Perhaps I need to clarify.

Quite recently, I learned 2 valuable lesson when I started my IM "career".

    1. Always record everything.
    2. Never do anything for free.

By recording everything. That means photos, videos, even journal entries. Record everything. All your experiences. They are valuable. Also you should never give your experience away for free. For instance. Amazon makes a fool out of anyone that writes a review on their site. Especially the guys that write 500 plus words. Every time someone reads your amazon review, amazon makes money. Don't give away your experience (in this case, product review) for free. People will pay a premium for experience. This can save the time and money. It's a form of outsourcing. It's the same reason you buy a book from borders. You pay a premium for the individual's valuable experience. If a John Doe makes $500 a week on the side and I make nothing, I can save time if I purchased his ebook (if he has one).

That kind of goes back to your first post. This is why people ask for ebook reviews. The reviewer will help determine that. Also the person selling the ebook needs to establish some sort of credibility. Just as there are crappy books in real life, there are also crappy books on the web.

It's somewhat of a tricky deal with the web as it's too easy to say good things about reviews. Think about buying a grill or a phone. You find tons of reviews online and most of them are positive. The reviews or points that are negatives are the ones that will stick in your mind Those faults will determine if you will buy the phone or not. Same with ebooks. Pay attention to negative reviews.

As with anything online, some risks must be taken. Take things with a grain of salt. Also if you buy an ebook from clickbank, i believe there is a 2 month satisfaction guarantee. I'n not to sure on that though.

ebooks would make its mark and presence felt once we have the ebook reader easily and commercially available. it wud sure be easier to hold that thin book in hand than the thick paperbook. also the number of novels that you coudl pack into one ebook far surpass what a paperback can do.

Knowledge is power.. You learn from books.. Ebooks just allow you to transfer them digitally .. That's about it :)

You have to find solid ebooks that actually help you.

Ebooks are so helpful because a lot of the time you can find them for either free or almost nothing ($1-$17) and they will include as much information as a program can at some points.

Again, ebooks are here to help you become successful.
