How do you explian this?? Clickbank Tracking Problem?

I was checking on my clickbank account and noticed something strange. Anyways, this is not the fist time i'm noticing strange things with that Clicbank account!!

I noticed a sale I have supposedly made. That was quiet good. But the thing is there was no hop count, no order form impression count, no order form submit count Nothing but just the 1 Initial sale count.

As for the zero hop count for that specific transaction, I could consider it to be thanks to the clickbank cookie. However, I wonder how i made that sale without the customer submitting the order form!!

Tracking is often hours behind but sales are counted as soon as they happen.

It might just be that they have added the sale into the analytics but the other details are lagging behind. Check when the tracking in analytics has caught up to the time the sale was made :)

Yea, with the new analytics (which i am surprised more people haven't complained about the long data updates delays) it can take many hours before the date is updated. Transactions are updated almost immediately so check their first. The full analytics, for all intensive purposes are a day behind.
Although you get more information now, the quick update of the old analytics was great. Especially when testing. Now you have to wait 24 hours to be sure of your results.

I have been doing this for a long time. i make a leaving out of this and i know what I am talking about!!!

God, I hate when people try to answer on threads they don't have a clue on what they are saying!!!

I was talking about the analytic section of my Clickbank account. The analytic had already updated and the sale was showing up there together with a bunch of other sales I have been making today. The Problem is that there was no order from submit against the particular sale I am talking aoubt. Do you get me now? I am not stupid.

Why ask here? Wouldn't it be better to ask CB themselves?

There's been a lot of people complaining about this.. Try searching around.. A lot of it has to do with delays in tracking and possible problems with browser cookies

This is a Clickbank forum for God's sake! I just wanted to see if some other people have experience this cos this is the second time it is happening to me. Moreover, I always get quicker and more elaborate answers here than I get when i contact Clickbank support.

Why ask them a question when I already know the answer they will give me? They will always go like: "our tracking tool is very effective and tracks every thing to a near 100% effectivity" bla bla bla bla...

It looks like they have the same ready-made saved answer for the same type of problems.

    Debatable ... certainly rude though.

You did not provide enough details in your post for anyone to make an informed comment so I simply answered assuming you had JUST checked your account and seen this as the same thing has happened to me.

In the end the tracking system is not perfect ... some things I am certain get missed. Just gotta live with it.
