    Hi,

Today I launched a new package for blog comment here but it is deleted and I received an infraction for duplicate content. There was nothing duplicate in that Thread. Previously I launched package for link building here

But I haven't duplicate that. Here are the reasons:
    1. That package was for 40$ and my new package is for 55$
    2. That package has 3 review copies and it has only 1 review copy
    3. All links new in this package

Kindly open that thread, or lemme know if there any other reason.

    Thanks for your time.

    Regards,

the only difference i see is you raised your price.
this isn't a significant enough change to warrant a new thread. thats probably why it got deleted.

Quick response, I just sent message to you and you were already checking that. Thanks for checking the issue.

Well only price is not raised there is a difference in package:
    previously it was
    5xPR4
    5xPR5
    2xPR6
    1xPR7

    and now I offered

    5xPR4
    5xPR5
    5xPR6
    1xPR7

So number of links also changed and that's price changed. Kindly restore this thread. Thanks

no, still not significant enough. just because you make small changes doesn't mean you can start another thread. this has been discussed before and the end result remains the same.

Ok, but that package was launched 17 days ago, I think its sufficient time to allow me a new package.

Price changed from 40$ to 55$, basic difference. Links offered for comments increased from 13 to 16. still its a small change :(

Price is different, offer of link combination is different, there is a gap of 17 days between the 2 threads, still you consider it as duplicate thread???

Kindly consider this issue, how can I sell my services, if I am unable to create a new thread.

    Thanks

No amount of time is sufficient enough to make a new package, so the 17 days is a moot point. Price changes do not mean you can make a new package. Slightly changing what you're offering also is not significant enough for a new thread. If we did, we'd have people starting new threads every month for the same things but with minor changes (in fact we have, and we probably still do -- so report them if you see them). It's not allowed. A duplicate thread is a duplicate thread. Making minor changes to get around the rule won't cut it. If time passes and you want to bring more attention to the thread, link to it in your signature.

Alrite, I know no arguments against rules, if its the rule, then I have to accept it. OK

What if I launch a totally different package in coming days, is there any risk to me??

I am not a mod but common sense tells me the answer is "no, unless it breaks the rules"

Think: will your "package" break any rules?

And the stickies in the forums where you want to post will help you.

Oh, isn't blog commenting service a "spam" service?
If not, why not? Please explain...

Who told you its a SPAM service??
There are people in this field who spam the links but you cannot say that this is a spam service.

If this is SPAM, then you offered your services as Forum Poster in history , was that also SPAM?

    Thanks

That would depend on whether they were being hired to post on the forum owner's own forum or asked to go around to 3rd party forums for the sake of posting links. The later might fall under spamming services here and not be allowed -- same reason we don't allow Angela's backlinks (and similar services) here where it's all about just posting links on 3rd party sites where it could be considered spamming. I feel like we already came to an agreement on this, but I'm going to run blog commenting by other mods first. I'm inclined to say it's no different than the profile linking services which are banned.

Backlink building via blog/forum commenting is always on 3rd party blog/forums. So it seems such service is banned here.
Actually, no offsite SEO services are allowed in DP, because almost all of them use backlink building on 3rd party sites.

So far, the mods who weighed in on the issue agree that it's a spam service and not allowed here. So unless Shawn overrules and says to go for it, don't start those threads please.
