How to get traffic to a web directory?

we are using several methods to drive traffic to our website, for this we are using SBMs, social networking sites, and classifieds sites like this there are many ways to drive traffic to a website. My question is how can we divert traffic to a web directory?, share your thoughts here..

Posting in forums is always a good way to get traffic... Personally, I would like to get more organic traffic from search engines.

i agree. same here, i also get more traffics using organi seo. manually submission of links will really affects your rankings and traffics.
