Not sure how to market my new site!

Thanks. I've been submitting all my new content to Digg.com StumbleUpon, and FAcebook, and I'm getting no real traffic. How can I fix this?

 

You should focus on search engine optimization and increasing your visibility in organic search results. A top 3 listing will produce the best results for your Web site. However, significantly improving rankings for a new site can take awhile (up to 6 months) so you should also launch a paid search advertising campaign with Google AdWords. In regards to paid search advertising, you should use both text and image ads on Google's search and content networks.

My ultimate goal is to rank high for a tail keyword. Something like humorous video(s) which has about combined 10,000 searches a month. I'm just having trouble getting higher ranks in those keywords. We'll see, any suggestions to get better position? Back links? What else?

 

Create a fan page on Facebook and use that. And then post funny videos as your status updates.

 

I do that right now for my personal facebook. But I am the creator of a 800 person group, I guess I could do it there.

Well, there not my videos, there from youtube. But, regardless how do you add watermarks?

 

Try some video marketing on popular video sites like youtube posting videos that you've uploaded to your site.
Start a content with give- aways

 

Yeah, I think a contest might work well, I'm just not sure where to advertise my site.
