I'm sure there is an explanation; it could be down to miscommunication or a similar error. It's only been a week, and as the user stated he wishes to test the software first. Perhaps he's been busy, or away from home. I doubt a premium member with such high post count, reputation and itrader would scam somebody over $30.

Just give it a few more days, and try contacting him again via PM and email.

According to DP rules, mods will not interfere between member disputes. He's a reputed member, there should be a good reason

You got paid. I understand the waiting and lack of communication may have been frustrating for you, but you have your money now. Maybe it's because it's your very first transaction here that he wanted to test the product. Anyhow, just put it behind you and avoid any further deals with him.

What's the talk about the "trial version" all about ?
Where are the rest of the details about this transaction ?

At first glance I'm guessing that you sold them a trial version of software with a shady serial number that will unlock it now, but may get disabled in the future for being stolen or something. That would explain their "trial version" comments and why you left out details when warning everyone about this person.

Hopefully I'm wrong, but with the details I have to go on, that's what this is looking like at the moment. :)

Isn't it against DP TOS to air all this dirty laundry? I think these things are supposed to be resolved in private, or if a thread is started, it is supposed to be in general terms so not to slander another DP member - whether you are right or wrong, I do not know, but I am trying to save you from an infraction ...

Also, a $30 scam is unlikely since it costs something like $50 minimum to become a premium member ... ?
