I have lots of ebooks that I want to sell on craigslist. Can some people please share some experiences with me. What works the best? what gets you flagged? how much money have you made and in what niche?

    any info is appreciated

    Thanks

craigslist give flags if you spam you advertisements or you post too much ads with same contents.

To find the top Craigslist cities by traffic, use Alexa. You can scroll down to the bottom of their page about Craigslist and it will show you the top cities under the Where people go on Craigslist.org heading.

Most people that use craiglist use a bot/spam it a lot. I have not really seen very many people that use it in a white hat manner and get very good success.

I don't know if this is helpful, but I've stopped using Craigslist for any kind of advertising and started using backpage.com They're a lot easier to work with. And, they get good results. I tend to think of Backpage as the new Craigslist.

Kijiji.com is not too bad, either.

I have not experienced great results from Craigslist. I received about 5 leads on Craigslist and only one converted into a sale. I have stopped using Craigslist and now I use Backpage. Backpage has better customer service and is more flexible.

If people really want to read what you sell, just put up good ads and help them understand your product (not spam), the sales will come. ;)

Most of the people on CL goes to US section and if you don't have US IP then your ad wouldn't appear on CL. That could be the problem for you.

If you really need to post in US section, there are plenty of legitimate US proxy providers. Ton of free university proxies out there.

Craigslist is dead. Stay away. Not worth it. Waste of time.

PPC is much better. Article marketing too.

    LOL

CL does have little tolerance on ad.. I have quite a few legit ads get flagged for no reason.. waste time... but traffic still good.

You're welcome! I have been scamed myself too many times and lost all my trust in Craig's list.

I have some good list building success on Craigslist by giving away free books in the books section.

Craigslist isn't good for selling e-books, I think its good if you go for article directories and blogs to promote them. These days the best way to sell an ebook is to set up a blog in that niche and leverage traffic towards your e-book.

The ebook frenzy is way to saturated, but there is a sucker born every minute.

    Good luck!
