Hello friends, I have been testing to write some articles and submit them to article directories and got good SEO results in the first month. But after that, some good keywords that are used to index on the first or second page in Google are not in that position anymore. I did the same thing on directory submission, it happened the same in the past. What method is better in term of SEO? Thanks very much!
i think directories don't give any link juice anymore as they used too a few days ago because google figured its a cheap way for sites to add none worth links but for article directories are different because its harder have your articles be accepted by the top article directories.
SEO is a non stop thing. You need to keep on doing it. If you see some keywords on top one day and the next day it dissappears that means you need to continue your efforts. Someone else who has the same keywords are doing better than you. So keep on doing it.
I would think articles would give you much better links. To start each page has many less outgoing links on it. Secondly if we think about this rationally, Google gives more credit for links which are more difficult to get. Writing a 250+ word article is more difficult then simply submitting your site to a directory.
Neither method - articles or directory submissions - give wonderful results in my experience, but both methods should still be used as part of an overall SEO campaign. Don't waste too much time on them though, either subcontract the work or use tools to help.
Both the methods if used in a smart way can produce a lot of effective results in the optimization of the websites. So please you can continue with good work.
Dear for Search Engine Ranking only Web Directory Submission and Article Submission is not enough. you need a lot more things to do than this. for your Keyword ranking your on-page matters. In Off-page SEO your Link Building matters which is more than Doing Web Directory Submission and Article Submission. Web Directory vs Article Submission ??? Both are not good if done separately but can be effective if combined with other SEO Activities. Hope this Helps!
