i'm new to this .. can you make money off impressions alone.. lets say you get like 10,000 impressions.. how much would that make you.. can it make you 10$
^not banners.. just normal google ad links.. lets say one day you get like 5,000 impressions and no clicks do you get to make 4-5$ ?
adsense is a "pay per click" program, you only get paid if your ads get clicked, if you want to get paid for impressions, try casalemedia.com
Yes, you can make money just from impressions. But advertiser must select targeting to your site. He can do this, if he click on "Advertise on this site" and if he start campaign at your site. Bust mostly you will be paid by CPC not by CPM.
yes , you can, check that at your account excuse me!!! How long you been using adsense. Did you even hear about CPM??? What's all that. You CAN get paid via CPM ads. But they give a cent or even less. If you have LOADS of visitors ,then CPM's will give u some good money. If you got some decent traffic but not THAT much, then CPM's will give you few cents (may be a dollar or two).
I do find my earnings go up by cent or two now and then. I guess those are impression based earnings.
Avatar7, when someone want to advertise on your site, google says, that this will bring you more money than basic CPC advertising on your site. They do this in that way, that if advertiser CPM is too low, his ads won't be shown... so in general with targeting advertising on your site, you should earn more money. oh ok , I got you now , but still you can post image ads only by setting it in your account. Ofcourse you will proabbly lose this way than if you placeed a text ad
