First month I've earned over $1000 from adsense

Well, I have finally reached a new milestone...by the end of the day I'll be a little over $1000 in adsense earnings for the month. My secret? Lots of blogging, tweaking, writing stories for social bookmarking sites, some advertising on the blogads network to give a new site a boost, and many 12+ hour days of blogging/design.

Anyone else reach this milestone? Is it normal to feel like your eyes are about to pop out of your head at this point? haha

thanks for the congrats, I wonder how long it will take to get to the next level... I get the feeling it is going to take longer to go from $1000 to $2000, but am hoping the more content I create - perhaps there will be a snowball effect eventually. Plus, we're getting out of the summer months so hopefully traffic will start increasing.

How many sites and blogs you have? Were they already established in terms of traffic before putting adsense on them.

if you have really done an exceptional like this then hats off to you. Could you plz take the pain of writing in details what xactly u did to get a wonderful result within such a little span of time?

 

I've got 10 right now, not sure if I can go past that level, but may try. They are all new sites...I started my first one around the beginning of May. I do owe a lot of the success to some of the tricks out there such as placing images near your ads, blending, etc.

 

Might sound fishy, but it really isn't that much if you think about it...

I've been putting in 12+ hour days on these blogs since May for at least 5-6 days a week. If you look at it that way, I'm probably making much less than minimum wage.

I wish I could be more detailed on what exactly I do, but if I give too much info out I only invite competition. Perhaps I can give hints though...

 

$1000 in the first month ? hmmmm.. congrats.

 

Why is it fishy? $1000 a month is very easily achieved if you put efforts into your work and have the traffic.

 

No, not in the first month... the month of August is my first month making it. I started in May 2006..making $800..then in the $900's - now going into the $1000's. My stock price seems to be rising by about $50+/month each month

Could be true not offending it. I have been working tremndously hard on bloging over lots of sites about my content. Its true to reach a success.
But bloging in my mind only drives traffic to my other sites which allows me to take the benefit of a revenue.

a $1000 check doesn't always mean that you MADE $1000, I remember some of my first few months, making $800-$900 but spending $200-$300 on content, ppc, links, etc....

 

Its a big figure but then he is not saying that he achieved this by using any special method but by hard work. So i don't think we should discourage him. Its nice of him to share this info here.
