Hi, My name is Alex. I'm 17 years old and new to this site and was wondering if anyone was interested in becoming my mentor and teaching me how to be successful online. I currently have 2 websites, and make very little money. I've been trying this online marketing "stuff" since October 2009. So i was wondering if anyone was willing to be my mentor. I'd be willing to help you with a new site or with an old site, kind of like an apprentice. I'd help out for free just so i'd learn about how to do internet marketing and be successful. I've used and learned the google sniper method, but am looking to learn more and become successful. So if anyone would be kind enough, just reply or pm me.

    Thanks, Alex :)

There is no need for a mentor. I was around your age when I started and found that the majority of the information I needed to become successful could be found on ebooks and articles on this site.

    Best of Luck!

I'm with this guy. I started out with SEO and web design when I was 14. Today I'm 17 and I make lots of money each month. All the information needed can be found on the internet. No matter what it is about, it can be found on the internet! This forum is a great place for information since there's a lot of tutorials, but I still think e-books are better. Good luck!

Well what would a mentor do for you? Talk to you over the phone? Give you tips? And would you be willing to compensate him for time lost making money online?

Think of the DP community as your mentor, any time you have a question just ask here. There are hundreds of people that are willing to help you. You don't need a private mentor.

I'm a mentor for a kid. He purchased my ebook and as of today - we're running a website together. I talk to him over MSN, and give him tips whenever I can.

You don't need a mentor. Just keep reading on DigitalPoint and find a couple free e-books and you'll be fine. I started when I was fifteen and I earned $300+ my first year. It's not a lot, but for a teen, it's a good amount.

Just research. I'm slightly younger than you, and I'm already getting lots of knowledge daily by just reading threads/posts and blogs.

I also started my business when I was younger than you...mentors aren't required, you just need to be smart, patient and willing to learn.

Hey I am only 18, been doing this since, a little before my 17 b-day, and well it is easier with a mentor, Now I might just be slow, But Iwas spending about 12 hours a day on average 7 days a week on the internet for about 8 months straight, and guess what? for some reason I still had no profit, I had plenty of knowledge, but I just wasn't making any money. I finally spent 500 bucks on a personal coach, and well some people might think I was stupid for doing it, but as of now I bring 4 figures a month consistantly and just had my first 5 figure month about two months ago, and well I am looking at 5 figures a month this month and prety much have it down, so I say that 500 dollar investment was lttle to learn how to make 10 grand + a month.

man if you want a mentor, I can help you free of charge, just send me a message when you have questions. But any actual marketer making big money, isn't going to coach you for free. I promise you, unless you are family or something. If you want one on one coaching, just Pm me and we can talk

First rule: don't ever pay for an eBook, it's a waste of money.

    I agree.

Read these forums for ideas. You don't need a mentor.

Find a good product to promote that has a history of good customer service and paying affiliates.

That is what we do, we live VERY well on the programs we promote.:D
