Hi. I'm looking for cartoon type graphics logo. I want to create a cartoon mascot for an online shop. I want to go for something like the shoemeney logo, or matt cutts' new logo, except I want a pumped up muscular guy with a mask on his face (nothing creepy though:p). Any idea how much would that cost? Is there anyone here who cand design that?

I would say the best place to get it done would be in Sitepoint.com, set up a contest and pick the design you like the most, if you are not happy with any of the entries you do not have to choose a winner. It will cost you approximately $200 for the prize and $20 for the contest.

Yes, a good number of design contests have taken place in this forums. I just recommended sitepoint because a lot of excellent designers tend to hang out over there, but you could still get a good result creating the contest in Digital Point.

You could also use something like Adobe Illustrator to make your own cartoon-type logo. Illustrator smoothes out your freehand lines, and filling in between the lines with colour is easy. You wouldn't even need a tablet.

If you can provide me with specifics of what you want (clothing, colors, style, etc.), when you want it and how much you can spend, I can take a crack at it. PM me if you like.
