    Hi,

I recently launched my very own web design outsourcing website (BizTrendz.com). But there are many things bothering me out of 1 is: How can I start marketing my website? Can any of following options work? I really need people to send me inquiries and orders... Please help me out if any of follows might work:

    1. Email Marketing
    2. Classified Ad Posting
    3. Forum Participation
    4. Blog Commenting

    Awaiting reply...

The answers above me are idiots.

The four ideas you have above there are all great ways to get some exposure. I like to use a ton of different ways to bring in all sorts of traffic.

I would choose a forum to participate it in everyday. Make sure it is something you enjoy or else your posts will be spam or junk. Leave your sig and answer peoples questions honestly. Be a big help in the community.

Next i would try some article writing. If you have a web design website, write an article or two about it. Articles can bring in clients looking for your specific niche.

After that, you can try some social bookmarking and networking. That can go along with article writing. Once you finish your article, social bookmark it to digg or propeller. If it is unique, it will get hits.

Blog commenting can work as long as you do it right. Have honest reveiws of someones blog with your link in the sig. Make sure that you aren't just saying bs.

Email Marketing is something i haven't done personally. I have heard many stories about it and that it can actually work if done correctly. You could always look into that.

There are so many ways to advertise your website. Just work one day at a time. You should be getting traffic to your site in no time using simple methods such as these, i promise.

I hope this information was useful to you.

I have found that Excell Networks does a good job of explaining exactly how to increase traffic in 8 simple steps:

    1) Invest in PPC and advertise with the major search engines

    2) Get backlinks and exchange or trade links

    3) Facilitate viral marketing

    4) Use quality keywords and content on your site

    5) Write and distribute articles leading back to your site

    6) Join forums and form online communities

    7) Give away free reports

more can be found on my forums, PM me for the link

    That's not very nice

If you are a designer I would suggest sponsoring some wordpress themes, or better yet, creating your own.
If you can create your own I would make nice styles in all the popular platforms, blogs, forums, directories etc...
That will help you get tons of backlinks and will help your rankings, granted you have quality content on your site. I would add a blog to your site if you don't already have one, post tips and tutorials for designers.

That would be a good start, otherwise article marketing, link directories and as this kind gentleman said, posting on design forums, helping those who ask for something, is a good way to get traffic and links.

Why would you start a website without having ANY plan to market it.

ONE of the things bothering you is how you're going to market it (and ultimately make money from it)?? Making money from your website is the only thing that matters and that can not happen unless you market it to prospective customers.

Lecture aside, I would pick a specific niche to focus in on it. Forum marketing and social media marketing are VERY good options in my opinion. Let's say you join XYZ forum, a forum about blogging. In your signature have a link that says: "Custom made blogs with free support! Half off for XYZ members!"

    Good luck.

Artilce Marketing is great, Build lots of backlinks and better your rankings in SERPS, from there the traffic will taker care of the business.

The more expose you get the better, focus on building traffic for the long run and take on a few freelancing projects to burn the time.

But put most of your efforts in marketing!

yes,you are right you can get the real traffic from blog commenting and email marketing.but make sure that you are commented only in high pr blogs.you can also use directory listing service which will index your website very soon in the top most search engines.yahoo answers posting is the other way in getting real traffic.
