Hello friend, I want to tell you that gray hat seo is the related from white hat seo and black hat seo.
there is one good article here about Grey Hat SEO. Check out here. http://www.bignews.biz/?id=833509&keys=professional-seo-service-company
My understanding is that its the halfway point between white hat seo and black hat seo. In other words, grayhat advocates don't frown upon things that many whitehats would, and there not quite as "evil" as the blackhat folks either.
Does blackhat even exist anymore? A few years ago, everyone knew what it was. Now everyone is doing something to prop their pages up. They are either using social bookmarks like crazy, getting links from a gazillion different directories, developing blogs with garbage content, posting lame articles that nobody every reads and only linking to their own sites, and so on. Does anyone even read articles? I don't think so. Purely used for SEO value. When people get really lazy, they go to other people's blogs and drop links with dumb a sentence or two. Blackhat is no longer blackhat. If google ever does decide to do more than give a little smack, half of the people in India will be unemployed. Do you really think that will happen?
You can't honestly tell me you've never read an article online? People do read articles, but they have a tendency only to read authoritative, high quality ones. The kind you find on yahoo news or from a well ranked, high trafficked blog. However, I do agree that many of the articles on ezines and other sites are garbage and provide no visitor value whatsoever. "You get what you give" applies to SEO just as it applies to anything else.
Sure, something on Yahoo News, Fox News, Forbes, WSJ and so on. I disagree with you here. You can post garbage all day long to the major article directories and get really valuable backlinks from everyone. Even the no-follow article directories earn backlinks on yahoo and google. In a way, I think it proves my point that google expects you to do many things that were considered "blackhat" just a few years ago. It's to the point that certain economies and benefits from international exchange would definitely feel a hit if all of this just went away.
Grey hat Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) is the combination of both black hat SEO and white hat SEO techniques. This means that often a grey hat SEO approach combines both ethical and unethical SEO tactics. A grey hat SEO approach contains less risk of being penalised by Google than black hat SEO techniques but is not as favourable as white hat SEO. The term grey hat SEO is also sometimes used to describe individual Search Engine Optimisation techniques that do not have a clear black or white definition. All of the Intergage Search Engine optimisation (SEO) services are strictly white hat. We wouldn't have it any other way
