How can I increase my CTR on an entertainment website receiving 3000 UV?

Hello everyone,

I have an entertainment-related website that receives 3000 unique visitors daily. However, I am having little to no success with Adsense. My CTR is really really low. Is that generally the issue with entertainment websites?

Any tips or suggestions would be great.

Try different ad placements, but entertainment website do usually have a low ctr.


Try a different monetization technique, like maybe money wall some of the content using CPA LEAD.

 

I agree with this. I have also read on entertainment site that bold Ads might work better.

 

1. Increase your traffic: do some SEO including backlinking, bookmarking, etc.
2. Increase your CTR: change your ad placement.

 

try moving your ads on the top area.

 

to increase your CTR you better use 336x280 ads format and put it inside your post, so its look not like an ads

 

Try to get ads on left side and top side . Use places where most of people see first. i mean on landing

 

If we can know the site then it would me more simpler to answer your query.
Just try different placements and compare the result.

 

Put it in front of the visitor eyes, and use 336x280 or 300x250 or 250x250 box
