Adwords Newbie Question

    Is there any way to know whether a click you receive through an adwords ad converts. It would be good to know whether the clicks provide a return before I start using it.

    Clicks do provide a return, if you know to manage the following

    1. Click fraud
    2. Keyword Quality Score

    Click fraud can straight away eat your budget, and also a healthy Keyword Quality Score needs to be maintained

    There is a facility for cookie-based conversion tracking in adwords.

    yes, google could provide conversion tracking for you. Only thing you need is to insert some code into your check out procedure in your shopping cart

    Ya, with the help of google analytics you can able to know that how many visitors came through ppc and how many converted. but you need to also share your adwords data with google analytics.
