Two of the same ads on one page?

    Hey there,

I have just been accepted into Google AdSense for the first time. I've read some guidelines to make sure I'm not breaking any rules, but I couldn't see anything about the question I'm about to ask.

Are we allowed to place two of the same ad blocks on one page? I'm sure I read somewhere that the same ads can't be shown on one page. But I'm not certain.

    Thanks!

You can have two of the same ad blocks with similar dimensions, but I don't think you can copy the same ad code twice for one page.

Thanks for your reply. OK, I'll just put one ad block at the top of the page. I'm using WordPress and I put the ad block in the code so when a post is shown so is an ad... and of course, with 2 being shown it showed two ad blocks.

Edit: Thanks for your reply too, sanpan. They show the same ads thought, that's why I thought it probably isn't allowed.

You can have more than 2 Ad blocks on one page. You should read the tos again that was clearly listed. You can even combine Adsense fore content with Adsense links.

I read it, you're allowed a maximum of three. The point I'm trying to make is that two of the same ad blocks tend to show the same ads - so you have two of the same ads on one page... maybe I imagined seeing it wasn't allowed... thanks anyway.

This is clearly stated in the TOS you could always read them AGAIN.

Yeah I agree. You can't copy the same code in one page but you actually have three ad blocks (different codes) on a single page.
