My beliefs are a bit foggy at this time in my life, but i can tell you this, seeing disrespectful, hateful comments like this coming from one who does not believe, really pushes me to the other side. The side that promotes, at the least, respect and kindness. If you have no believe, thats your business, but to disrespect others beliefs, makes you a very rude individual, maybe you should seek God, cause you seem really angry, and lack peace. All beliefs deserve some amount of respect. If someone believes in buddah, respect it, and move on> if someone believes in Aliens, respect it and move on...get the picture stoxy boy?

You should respect their belief ,and move on. You don't have to agree with someone, in order to respect their belief. When you respect ones belief, you're simply acknowledging that that is their belief. Now if they acted on these beliefs, in a harmful way, I'd be saying something totally different. The "amount of respect" I am speaking of, is simply acknowledgment at the least. Like it or not, just by debating those that believe differently than you, in this forum, you are respecting their beliefs. Everyone has a right to their opinion, its one of the greatest freedoms in the world.
I'm with stOx. Beliefs in baseless and ridiculous stuff deserve no respect, and should be mocked. Everyone has a right to belief in stuff, and everyone else have a right to mock the beliefs of others. The common logical fallacy of the type "if you say you don't believe in god, then you do believe" that religious people commonly use. No, he is not respecting their beliefs. He is mocking their beliefs as he should.
simpleg "respects" racists? bearing in mind that respect means the condition of being esteemed or honoured. If what you mean is just to acknowledge that a belief exists, i acknowledge it, but that doesn't mean the same as respecting it. You should probably find out what words mean before attempting to use them, otherwise you end up in the unfortunate position of saying you "respect" racists and child abusers.

Wrong. Only me & stOx are active. most nonbelievers are "live and let live" -> too passive. Clearly, their indifference is also responsible for the "existence" of god. If all non-believers, the majority of the people that live in the west today (although most wouldn't admit it), mocked those who have riduculous beliefs, there will be none left.

I believe the numbers are closer to 75% christian 5% buddasim , judism, and etc.. 20% non religious
