    Hiya,

Just discovered something that is AWESOME news for all Clickbank advertisers who are based outside of the US.

Clickbank has just announced that they will start issuing prepaid MasterCards, meaning that people will be able to get payments from Clickbank A LOT faster and avoid the huge fees associated with cashing foreign cheques.

    From their press release:

This is really great news for me. Though I really have no problems with their checks so far, I hate going to the Bank Every 2 weeks to cash them.

No-one knows but most likely very soon, given that the press release said that the deal with Payoneer was already agreed on.

    Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Man I am doing cart wheels and breakdancing my asss away...

    This is not good news....

    This is grreat news...

    GREAT NEWS

It takes 1 week for the CB checks to reach me, then another 4 weeks for that same foreign check to be cleared by the local bank.

Now how soon will this card come into effect?

Nothing is mentioned on the news page....

I just check my account settings and the pay by check is still the only option.

I hope this happens very soon.

I have other accounts too, so those checks are sent to my sister who lives in the USA and when she receives the checks she cashes it then send it through Western Union to me.

But helll yeah this master card is good news

    God Bless Clickbank!

    right noob question...

does this mean they will send me a pre-paid mastercard with money on it, and then everytime I make new sales they will be put on that card? How would I get my money from my mastercard to my bank account?

    hi Marcusio

they will send you a pre-paid mastercard there will be no money on it till you make sales when you are due payment they upload the money to your card. You can then use the card either to make purchases or withdraw money from it via almost all ATM's. To get the money into your bank account you would have to withdraw it from an ATM and put the money directly into your account.

Finally a better way to receive payments. At least for everyone in Europe checks are a bit of a pain in the neck.

I have to wait 40/50 days until my bank validates each and every check, and not only but pay quite a high fee for each deposited check (refundable), as a guarantee plus the afferent fee per check ($10 non-refundable).

Don't know about many of you, if you are paying the $10 fee per check (non-refundable) but I have paid well over ($1000 last year alone)..

With the mastercards I suppose the fees won't be as high per transaction.

A lovely news that needs to be celebrated :)

@marcusio - The money will be in your bank account, you'll only need to withdraw them from the ATM. (I suppose these cards will have an internet-banking 24/7 service just as every other bank has, which will allow you to keep track of all incoming payments from Clickbank. Sweet!

You'll get the card via regular mail - nothing to do with either your bank or PayPal.

By the way, I already have two Payoneer cards (from oDesk and 2CO) and can say that the system works exceptionally well so there's a lot for ClickBank marketers to look forward to :)

Do you even read the threads mate?

The mastercard pyoneer comes by post mail. (At least some other online firms that are using Mastercard Pyoneer send it by email, I suppose that's what Clickabank will do as well).

I'm saying this because usually a credit card is personally handed to the new owner by a bank representative. (It has the PIN code, and that's just a great way to prevent fraud)

One thing I felt the need to point out is that it's great news not only to affiliates outside of US but to ALL merchants (whether US-based or not) as well - that's simply because it's expected that Clickbank's non-US affiliates will become a lot more active because of this = more sales for merchants!

Yup, Payoneer fees for non-US transactions are known to be higher. So the benefit of these cards (other than the convenience of receiving commissions) will depend on how much Payoneer subsidizes fees for CB clients.
