OK, so I am using a free mass mailer program called ccmail.

I am trying to configure the SMTP settings for a gmail account. I enter in these settings:

And it says: SMTP Error: Could not connect to SMTP host.

I also enabled IMAP (i don't see anything for enabling smtp in there but I am sure gmail has it).

I have tried to set up SMTP for my yahoo email as well but discovered that you had to upgrade to a yahoo plus account ... please help!

Please, if anyone could help me with this I would be very grateful ... I can't get sendmail to work either so SMTP is my only option.

Gmail SMTP requires SSL or TLS in your mail client.
    does ccmail support that?
