    Hi friends,

Iam using Avira now. So far its perfomance is pretty impressive. But my friends said that avira can't detect spywares. They are recommending Avast. I had used it earlier. But system became very slow when I used it. What do you say?

I agree, Nod32 is THE best antivirus out there ... ESET makes some great programs.

I would use Nod32, and zonealarm FTW =]

I have use Avira for about 2 years and I will say
it's good enough for me because it is 'light' and
doesn't take much resources to work.

As for spyware solutions, you may use free apps.
I recommend Spybot Search & Destroy. I use it.

I'm a long time NOD and KAV user but I've switched to Avira because none of them could delete the virus that I had, so Avira all the way. :)

I've used many AntiViruses. IMHO Kaspersky Internet Security is the best. I'm totally satisfied with it.
