More does not always mean better. I can safely say, quality > quanitity. Yahoo is being run by Bing right now, so Bing would have to be the better search engine (since the Yahoo search engine is not being used right now.)
I heard Yahoo is deminishing...rapidly after it leaked chinese disident email to china goverment. It tried to sell to microsoft but microsoft kept itself from it. Bing was invented to compete with Google not Yahoo. Yahoo is dying just like others : altavista, infoseek and lycos or excite. In kinda business..... they should always reinovate their system if they want to survive...or left behind and doomed by time.
Well its not much of a comparison between Bing and Yahoo as they don't represent the same thing. Bing is solely a search engine and nothing else, as of Yahoo, its whole network, a set of sites, features, like Google. So in terms of compairing the actual search engine: Bing wins In terms of compairing (even though its not fair) in broader scope: Yahoo wins, by far! For the traffic part, I'd say as mentioned above, they have similair market share, but, Yahoo still wins I think. Yahoo is extremely popular in US and has been sort of coming up side by side with Google. Bing on the other hand is taking advantage of market share of Windows OS, and thus, became popular so to say, over night, maybe not popular, more of pushed in... Best regards
Yahoo gets a lot of users over Bing though the latter is trying to beat Google as the best and most reliable search engine.
Yahoo has been around longer than msn/bing/live or whatever they call themselves now as a search engine. It seems yahoo gets more traffic probably because they have a lot of this . yahoo . com and that . yahoo .com things going on all on the same domain. If hotmail was more along the lines of hotmail . msn .com and all other msn related were on the same domain they might actually have more. It would be a close one.
