Need Urgent Advice

I have someone wanting to use my Paypal acct for me to receive funds and I receive a commission if I send money via Wire Transfer for the remainder of sales.

What can this guy do to me if I give him my Paypal addy?

do u personally know this guy? I heard a lot of scammer using the same trick to get money

 

He is a DP Member claiming to be from Czech (Can't receive Paypal payments). How would the scam work if it was one?

 

after you wire the money, he file a paypal charge back (he is also the sender). So u lost the cash and got nothing from paypal

 

I have just asked to comment in this thread. Let's see if he does!

 

Honestly! never do it, even if you know the person personally. The Paypal chargeback policy is very much strict, how you trust that you are getting legitimate payments?

 

i am not saying your customer is a scammer. However, i saw ppl using exactly the same reason and method to scam money and you should be careful

 

Yeah, be careful for sure...google around and see if he has much activity on the internet (forum posts etc...) If nothing shows up then I would be careful

 

Looks like he has sold some stuff through DP to other members. Can't see any bad feedback anywhere & he has 55 posts up. He said he will not accept any money for the first month as proof.

Sounds tempting. I would like your comments guys from this latest info.

let do some math.. 49 - 30% - fee for wire(Min fee of my local WU is 15)..so he is getting like 20 buck at the end unless he sells a lot

 

I haven't exactly dealt with this guy but he is a member from December 2005...
And Col,if he has sold some stuff to DP members, why isn't there any Itrader for him??? You could talk to those guys to whom he sold...

This is NOT to say that he is a scammer or something. 30% of commission looks a bit too good, although it may be true.

Ask him if he was a member at other forums and for other references...
