how is the niche arcade games ?

i'd like to know your idea about niche arcade games ?

i will make a site and install script arcade games on it then get advertise from adsense

Yes the cpc is is really low. I would use casino, poker niches.

Yes, adsense cpc on arcades are very low. About as low as you can get I think.
You might be better off using affiliate products rather than adsense.
I use my arcade as linkbait for my main video game store since people can put the games on their site/myspace, etc...

I do have some adsense on it but more for Google to keep aware of the site as to making money from them.

Gaming is a tough niche and not an easy one to crack. It can also take years to rank well with constant work. So know what you are getting into before you jump.

You might also have a look at "reflexive games" as one avenue of revenue for a gaming site.

Funny, a few years back this niche used to have high cpc. Not anymore after every webmaster jumped on the niche, lol.

 

I also have been doing the game niche, and i have had very little success, but im not giving up yet, true there maybe better or easier niches to get into but i like to give everything a decent chance

 

Yup, everyone and their grandma has an arcade it seems.
The reflexive games pay pretty good as a way to monetize the site. I think bigfish and realmedia has similiar affiliate programs.

insurance, medical, diet, loans (various), are paying fairly well.
Use Googles keyword tool to research some. Select the Show all columns and you will see what Google is charging per click. This will give an idea of how well it will pay.

Hi, an arcade site is fine but as many others say the competition is big. I know some people making entire sites for only 1 specefic game. like fx pacman and then thay have MANY differrent versions of same game.. it is more easy

 

Pick another niche. that one sucks. very low paying clicks. also, people are there to play games so the found what they want there not going to click through.

Those would be better but there is a lot of competition for those. Use Google Adwords keyword tool and find a search phrase domain related to one of those topics you will have better luck getting traffic right away if you dont have a large budget for link developement.

Again, there is no way to determine how much you will make. just experiment with your ad placement once the site is done.

 

gaming is not suit for adsense earning since it low paying niche..

Yes, medical, health, and insurance are all good places to start.

 

The substantial amount of traffic arcade sites get make up for the poor click payouts. Plus there are ways to change the adsense banner types, to get higher clicks. ie change the keywords slightly without breaking the adsense rules.
